PTI UK Ideas & Suggestions

Dear All,

As part of PTI UK's continues practice of seeking feedback we would like your suggestions and feedback on the following:

1) Creating awareness of the party in the UK

2) Ideas for fund raising for by-elections and general elections in Pakistan including setting up new offices across various districts in Pakistan to expand PTI.

The Gilgit and Baltistan Election 2009 was an exercise in how to waste time and resources. The writing was on the wall that PP were out to get a monoply in this newly created "fifth province". The Pakistani media believes in "worship of the rising Sun!" Many a time I have seen TV anchors of political talk shows declaring that "Imran Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaaf" was the only credible alternative and a hope for the people of Pakistan. However, when it comes to crunch, the media suddenly changes its colour and starts singing praises of the party in power. In my opinion, the only course left open for the oppressed people of Pakistan is to rise against the corrupt politicians and openly back PTI at the next general election, otherwise they will have to bear the excesses of the current discredited political system and its products for the next SIXTY(60) years! Should this happen then only GOD can save Pakistan and her people.

I think PTI UK should create an awareness campaign by running roadshows up and down the country. From highly populated asian areas, start with Billboard ads, radio,asian newspapers.The road shows should provide all the necessary benefits why should we join PTI, how we can bring a change in Pakistan, how PTI can work differently to achieve a stronger presence.If done correctly, PTI can create a viral wave and recruit a very healthy batch of skilled and educated inviduals that can have an impact and most importantly make a difference.

 Also host a few charity dinners, maybe a concert.Next year Pakistan is touring England. Imran Khna still has tremendous respect from the Cricketers. Im sure they would love to participate.

My ideas are for the funds you have to arrange a banquet Dinner in 4 city's, London Manchester Birmingham and Bradford. Call a celebrity gust from India like Amir Khan and one female artist with him. Also, invite Pakistani business owners like Noon Food production or Best ways Cash and Carry. This dinner not going to call party fund but call hospital charity.

 For party awareness, Keep in touch with Pakistani base Newspapers. "Keep", I focused in every news in Pakistan end give party statements when ever required "more next" time.

I have another suggestion for you guys and I think it would really help you guys get your message through, it would act as a campaign effort and more importantly would act as new way for a peacefull protest.
 
You guys with come up with badges with a catch phrase something like "nainsafee, badnazmee, ghurbat, jahallat, NAHEE BUS AUR NAHEE".
 
These should be distributed to all the children in schools and colleges and they should be asked to distribute it to everyone they know and wear them till they feel nainsafee, badnazmee, ghurbat, jahallat have been eliminated. Idea is these badges should be distributed to as many people as possible in all provinces.
